The Adventures of Christopher Bosh in the Multiverse from last year’s Borscht (Bosh) Film Festival has recently (finally) gone viral! This short animated film is full of an Adult Swim breed of humor and was scored by Michael-John Hancock of Awesome New Republic, as well as Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit. Fun fact, Hancock also ghost-wrote “Nookie”. Check out the video below, if you haven’t already seen it on Complex, Vice, and every other website that is great.
Check Plains performing “Swim” the first track off of their forthcoming 2nd album! The track was recorded live at Honor Roll studios, filmed by Jesse Meadows edited by Plains’ guitarist Jorge Gonzalez Graupera, and mixed by Michael McGinnis himself.
During Basel, Honor Roll (home of the 10K Islands label) was blessed with an extended visit by friends BELLS ATLAS. During their stay, ANR’s Luke Moellman recorded and mixed a live performance by the band in our practice space. It looks and sounds great, and the track, titled “Video Star” is excellent. Check it out!
ANR (Awesome New Republic) put out TOBE HOOPER over the weekend, and it’s been getting lots of love from around the world. Thanks to everyone who has been listening! As a total surprise, the actual Texas Chainsaw Massacre family did a live performance of “TOBE HOOPER” and some other ANR tracks. We compiled footage of them at our studio and the live show, and now present the video for ANR’s cover of the Ramones “Chainsaw”:
ANR have taken footage of their recording sessions and chopped it up into a short track of it’s own. Recording sessions are not in short supply for the guys as MJ, Brian & Luke prepare their next album, and more. Keep up with them on Facebook ,Twitter, and YouTube for loads of news, music, and other surprises to come.
ANR‘s Michael John-Hancock has dropped another gem along the road to their new album, the follow up to 2011′s Stay Kids.
These tripped out, artistic videos feature rare moments with the band, beautiful imagery and sneak peaks into what some of their amazing new tracks sound like. If you haven’t seen the first, “Urban Legends”, get up to speed.
Then watch John-Hancock turn into his father in the new video.

Earlier today, Crossfade of the Miami New Times premiered PLAINS new video for “Stains”, the whiskey drenched punk-rock party track off their debut album.
True to the music, the video–directed by guitarist and awesome dude Jorge Gonzalez Graupera–is fun and.. well, probably whiskey drenched. It’s compiled mainly of tour footage from earlier this year, and has at least one pillow fight. Check it out!
