PLAINS – “Stains” Video

Earlier today, Crossfade of the Miami New Times premiered PLAINS new video for “Stains”, the whiskey drenched punk-rock party track off their debut album.

True to the music, the video–directed by guitarist and awesome dude Jorge Gonzalez Graupera–is fun and.. well, probably whiskey drenched. It’s compiled mainly of tour footage from earlier this year, and has at least one pillow fight. Check it out!

FLA Rising: Basshead Music – All Killer, No Filler LP

Today, Miami’s bass overlords, Basshead Music, release their first ever LP.

“All Killer, No Filler” stretches right across the grand spectrum of Bass Music, from dubstep to hip-hop, drum & bass to booty bass. It features a number of Miami’s own artists, as well as some out of town heavyweights.

Listen to Basshead’s first album “All Killer, No Filler” below and buy it here!

Also, if you missed the release of F WITH FLORIDA by the GET LOW team, download it here for more juicy beats from Florida artists.

PLAINS – “Dry” Video

PLAINS teamed up with director Matthew Prickett to create the music video for “Dry”. I don’t think any of us here have ever seen a better depiction of what it feels like to wake up next to an empty bottle of Jameson, rock bottom.

Said frontman Mike McGinnis: “We tried to represent the song in a very literal way. It’s about being at a low point in life after losing a loved one. The character in the song ends up getting out of his funk after he realizes that he can create life just as easy as it’s been taken away from him.”

Also check out PLAINS performing “Dry” live at Grand Central.

Thanks go out to The BPB New Times, as well as Jolt Radio & Discosoma Records for spreading the good word.

Look out for a new PLAINS video in the very near future, and catch them at Audio Junkie, July 4th at O Cinema! (Check it out here)
