PLAINS has recently linked up with South Florida label Limited Fanfare Records. Today Limited Fanfare released their spring/summer 2013 sampler, featuring some great South Florida music, including a brand new track from Plains, “Hurricane City”! Check that out and don’t miss the rest of their great line-up on this sampler.
10K Islands newest addition, Big East, has been working hard in Richmond, VA, writing songs and playing shows. Frontman Ed Prendergast made it to headquarters for 6 days of mixing & mastering at our Miami studio. Via beer, Redbull, and the help of 10K producers Michael Montuori (ARK IX), Patrick Hart, and Brian Robertson of ANR, a great first release is finally completed.
You can look forward to new tracks in the coming weeks, and Fone Store Vol. 1, a mixtape of 10 Original Big East tracks, in October. For now, check out a couple of pictures from the weekend, and go like Big East on Facebook, fool!
ANR have taken footage of their recording sessions and chopped it up into a short track of it’s own. Recording sessions are not in short supply for the guys as MJ, Brian & Luke prepare their next album, and more. Keep up with them on Facebook ,Twitter, and YouTube for loads of news, music, and other surprises to come.
ANR‘s Brian and MJ have been working on the follow up to Stay Kids all year. In the past few months, they’ve been hitting overtime, locked up in the studio seven days a week. We thought we’d share some photos:
MJ painted this sweet piece hanging overhead in Studio C in between writing and recording sessions.
BRob is the #1 intern, naturally.
You’ll be smiling like them when they release this album. We may or may not have heard some of it. It may or may not be really awesome… Ok, it’s really awesome.
This 4th of July Miami was out in force at Audio Junkie’s Independence Day jam with a ton of awesome local bands, including PLAINS, Arboles Libres & Deaf Poets, along with Jolt Radio (providing the tunes outside) & Subvert Ales providing the tasty homegrown brews.
Check out Jolt Radio’s recap for pictures and more! Much thanks to them for the great coverage and jams.
ANR‘s Michael John-Hancock has dropped another gem along the road to their new album, the follow up to 2011′s Stay Kids.
These tripped out, artistic videos feature rare moments with the band, beautiful imagery and sneak peaks into what some of their amazing new tracks sound like. If you haven’t seen the first, “Urban Legends”, get up to speed.
